Also, check out the Yelp boards for stylist recs. A good one isn't cheap, but they should do such an awesome job that your hair will grow out beautifully and you won't need to get it cut for months and months. Good luck! Willow's hair "might" work, but if your hair is as thick as mine, it won't lay like that. The only way my hair will even approach managable is in layers, and I usually have to fight with the hairdresser to get it right...."Are you sure? I'm sure, just keep cutting, I'll tell you when to stop." Layering helps a little with the hairs that have a mind of their own and most days it looks like you did it on purpose. Eh, hope this helps. It's hard to screw up, even the girl at the beauty school did a decent job. I did that a couple of years ago because it was just in such bad shape, and a friend dyed leopard spots all over the fuzz. Now I'm growing it out and consider hats to BE my 'do. I say just shave it. I really think that cut would look good on you though!
